About the Writer

Jacqueline F. Donabedian is a drama writer with a flair for subversive storytelling. Jacqueline’s portfolio includes screenplays (TV, film, PSAs, product placement integrations, voiceover scripts), digital ads, award submission essays, articles, short stories, and blog posts. Most recently, Jacqueline wrote and produced an episode of CBS’s hit TV show, “Fire Country.” She has supported the writers’ rooms of other noteworthy shows including “Lethal Weapon” (Fox), “Trial & Error” (NBC), “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC), and “Fire Country” (CBS).

Collecting 10+ years of entertainment experience, Jacqueline began her career in film development at Paramount Pictures— the first building block in her sturdy, storytelling foundation. As versatile as they come, Jacqueline thrives on weaving levity into dramatic storylines and using comedic relief to soften the tension. While she prefers to be behind the laptop these days, Jacqueline has taken courses at the Second City Training Center and performed improv and stand-up at a few iconic venues in Los Angeles. Jacqueline has accumulated several achievements in her writing career including finalist placement in the 2020 Walt Disney Television Writing Program, and semi-finalist status in the 2020 Warner Bros. Television Writers’ Workshop.

Jacqueline is originally from the sunny San Fernando Valley, but she’s not your typical valley girl. Growing up in an Armenian-Italian household, Jacqueline and her family broke lavash and focaccia every night together, regardless of the heated discussions that transpired seconds earlier. She steers clear of malls, and prefers nature over anything made of concrete. To this day, Jacqueline gets lost on many ambitious hiking trails with her trusty French Bulldog-Boston Terrier companion, “Hunk.”
